Resumo
Este artigo é um registro empírico que busca refletir sobre as estratégias adotadas pelos operadores logísticos para se manterem atuantes diante dos riscos e incertezas do mercado em um mundo globalizado. Essas corporações, ao deixarem o atendimento de balcão, se reestruturaram e se adaptaram às novas exigências do mercado, identificaram as mudanças em andamento, decorrentes da abertura econômica do final da década de 1970 e início de 1980. Desta forma, absorveram inovações estratégicas e tecnológicas, que permitiram-lhes continuar operando em um mercado que se tornava cada dia mais competitivo. Assim, são abordados de forma conceitual os seguintes temas: estratégia, inovação, logística e operadores logísticos. Será visto o caso da empresa, Santos Brasil , que oferece serviços logísticos, buscando mais qualidade e mais valor a seus clientes.
This article is an empirical record that seeks to reflect on the strategies adopted by logistic operators to stay abreast of the risks and uncertainties of the market in a globalized world. These corporations, when they left the counter service, were restructured and adapted to the new demands of the market, identified the changes in progress, arising from the economic opening of the late 1970s and early 1980s. In this way, they absorbed strategic and technological innovations , which allowed them to continue operating in a market that became increasingly competitive. Thus, we will approach in a conceptual way the following themes: strategy, innovation, logistics and logistics operators. It will be seen the case of the company, Santos Brasil, which offers logistics services, seeking more quality and more value to its customers
