africana e ritmos afro-brasileiros.
Andrade (1999), Passos (2012), Souza (2009), Munanga (2008), Rosa (2013), Hall
(2006), entre outros(as)
This monograph entitled Implementation of the law 10.639 / 03: The Hip Hop movement as a way of expanding the ethnic debate - racial education, addresses the hip hop movement practice as pedagogical strategies for the implementation of Law 10.639 / 03, that is, African content and African-Brazilian in school curriculum. To this end, the research work was conducted at the College Carlos Drummond Andrade in Morumbi II neighborhood in the city of Foz do Iguaçu, with young people from 13 to 14 years who are in seventh and eighth grade. One of the main strategies to claim the different issues that the law proposed were the “round of conversation”, which allowed greater interaction among students. These meetings were addressed topics such as the historical process of enslavement, the various forms of racism, violence, prejudice, stereotypes, the role of black women in society, religions of African origin and African- Brazilian rhythms. The paper presented here is structured into three chapters. Chapter 1 - entitled "From the bridge to here," shows the trajectory of the hip-hop movement, the historical and social context and the formation of the hip hop movement in Foz do Iguaçu. Chapter 2 - "Zumbi is still alive, cause the fight is not over" deals with the discussion of the formation of the Black Diaspora and the Black Movement in Brazil, discussing the construction of black identity, racism and education of ethnic-racial relations. And, Chapter 3 - "Rap-sando education" that addresses the educational activities taking rap as an approach strategy for the integration of content and debates relating to Law 10.639 / 03. For methodological theoretical support were used: Dayrell (2002) Andrade (1999), Passos (2012), Souza (2009), Munanga (2008), Rose (2013), Hall (2006)
