The study aims to identify as occurs insertion of young people in the labor market in Paraguay. For the study was used descriptive methodology. Bogiani (2006), points that the education, the training as a complement of qualification and the migration as an indicator of personal ambition, are seen as an investment that guarantees the entrance to the labor market and the access to a good payment through the performance in occupations that demand qualification. Viana and Ferrera de Lima (2010) argue that the level of human capital in a population influences the economic system in several ways with the increase of productivity and profits, since this human capital provides higher knowledge and capability, resolving issues and overcoming regional difficulties, this contributing with the society individually and jointly. From this perspective, it is evident that those young with 7 to 18 years of studies get remuneration higher than the minimum salary, entering in the tertiary sectors of the economy and in the same way it has been verified that 32 % of the students in the Universidad National de Asunción (UNA) receive less than the minimum salary, as they pursue a career in fields with low labor demand. So the solution to get a job with a good pay is not to pursue any career, but be informed about what kind of employment the labour market generates and accordingly follow these careers and skills to fill the jobs.
